Day 1: jeep tour for the highlights places in Wadi Rum You will meet your Bedouin host at Rum Village then head into the Wadi Rum by jeep. This day you'll be going for a jeep tour to get acquainted with the surrounding and visit some of the major attractions: Lawrence Spring, Thamodian Script, Lawrence House remains, Nabatean Temple, Al Khazali Canyon and Rakabat Um Ishreen.
After watching a beautiful sunset we return to our Bedouin camp in the middle of the desert for a feast on 'Zerb' - a traditional Bedouin dish of chicken and vegetables cooked underneath the desert's sand, and a night under the Milky Way.

Overnight in Wadi Rum. (Bedouin camp)

Day 2 : Burdah and Um Ngour (Scrambling, hiking ,camping)
After breakfast we will start off with trekking accompanied with a little scrambling over yellow and pink sandstone slabs. Throughout the climb and from the top you will enjoy awe-inspiring views across the whole region. Hiking time is around 4 hours.

After lunch we will take a Jeep tour of Wadi Rum and visit the big sand dune for an opportunity to take-off your shoes and run up and down its soft sand. Sounds childish, but lots of fun!

We then return to the campsite for another desert dinner and overnight experience.

Overnight in Wadi Rum. (Bedouin camp)

Day 3 hike to the highest in Jordan- Jabel Um Adaami
After breakfast we are heading to the highest summit in Jordan (1832m above sea level), at the southern part of Rum. This is a long (1 hour) but enjoyable jeep drive through the desert, especially going through the wide Wadi Saabit. When we reach the foot of the mountain, we start up through a gully which might be the only difficult part of the mountain to ascend. The path to the summit is no more than hill walking for 2.5 hours, and you are rewarded by the panoramic view over Saudi Arabia to the south and Wadi Rum to the north.

Going down, we'll find lunch ready in a shaded spot. After lunch and a rest, we go on a pleasant 2 hour trek through the remote Wadi Saabit near the border with Saudi Arabia. We'll then settle down at a suitable spot to spend the night. Tonight's overnight experience will be a special one as we're camping out away from any fixed campsites and away from any human activity. Our Bedouin hosts will take care of dinner and make sure we are good for the night. Matresses, blankets and small tents will be provided. (B L D)

After breakfast on day 4, we will head back to Rum Village where the trip ends. (B)

You may arrange with your tour leader if you desire to ride a camel back to Rum Village (this is an optional activity and is not included in the trip's price, it can cost between 15 and 35 JOD depending on the required distance.)
