Desert Adventure: Jeep tour & scrambling, Camels , Bedouin camp.

Day 1: visiting the highlights places in Wadi Rum by Jeep.

s-1 You will meet your Bedouin host at Rum Village then head into the Wadi Rum by jeep. This day you'll be going for a jeep tour to get acquainted with the surrounding and explore some of the desert's attraction sites: Lawrence Spring, Lawrence House remains, Al Khazaali Canyon and Rakabat Um Ishreen.
After watching a beautiful sunset we return to our Bedouin camp in the middle of the desert for a feast on 'Zerb' - a traditional Bedouin dish of meat and vegetables cooked underneath the desert's sand, and a night under the Milky Way.

Overnight in Wadi Rum. (Bedouin camp)

Day 2 : Burdah scrambling (Scrambling, hiking ,camping)
After breakfast we will start off with trekking accompanied with a little scrambling over pale yellow sandstone slabs which become pinker the higher we climb. Throughout the climb and from the top you will enjoy awe-inspiring views across the whole region. Hiking time is around 4 hours.

s-2 In the hot summer time (late June, July and August), we will avoid the Burda mountain climb/scramble mentions above. Instead you will be trekking through Siq Al Barah between desert mountains.

After lunch we will take a Jeep tour of Wadi Rum and visit the big sand dune for an opportunity to take-off your shoes and run up and down its soft sand. Sounds childish, but lots of fun!

Then we will find a good spot to watch another great sunset before heading back to the camp for another feast and overnight.

Overnight in Wadi Rum. (Bedouin camp)

After breakfast on day 3, we'll farewell Rum and depart in harmony with its slow pace; riding camels back to Rum Village (approx. 2 hours)

A traditional Bedouin coffee ceremony involves 3 cups of coffee - one for the soul, one for the sword, and one because you are a guest...If you ask for a fourth you’re being greedy!

Much of David Lean’s epic 1962 movie "Lawrence of Arabia," starring Peter O'Toole, Alec Guiness and Omar Sharif, was filmed on location in Wadi Rum.
