5-1 Balloon flights typically take place during the early morning hours and last for around an hour, but you should allow 2 to 3 hours for the whole experience. At 5:45 AM you will be picked up from Wadi Rum visitor center and head towards the take off spot. The flight will take you to 3000 feet above the ground (4000 feet above sea level) and will last for approximately 1 hour. You will then land and be picked up by the ground crew and transfer back to the visitor center.

There are two balloons with different capacities (5 and 16 persons), so depending on the number of participant, one of the balloons will be used. the 5 persons balloon needs a minimum of 3 to operate while the 16 persons balloon need a minimum of 8.

5-2 As we mentioned this simple itinerary is all about the ballooning itself. Should you desire to combine other activities please let us know what goes on in your mind and we'll be more than happy to assist you enrich your desert experience.
